There are many internship opportunities throughout the year at Nuqta. Responsible, reliable and energetic interns will receive invaluable behind-the-scenes experience as they assist the Nuqta team on a wide variety of projects.

Our internships are open to anyone who is over 18 and has the right to work in the UK. Each application will be considered equally and you will need to demonstrate potential as well as show passion for what we do.

Nuqta Internship

Nuqta is seeking an intern to assist the team with communication outreach efforts and to develop content on the Nuqta website. This internship is for Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm for six weeks at our central London studio. A daily allowance of £15 to cover travel and subsistence will be offered.

Job description

The successful applicant will work directly with the Nuqta team to complete necessary tasks. On a day-to-day basis you will be involved with updating the website with high quality content. For example, contacting experts in the field to submit articles to the Knowledge Bank or monitor submissions on the Nuqta website.

Other duties will include:

  • Monitoring media content and compiling reports.
  • Updating social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
  • Additional administrative tasks as needed.


We are looking for candidates with a strong arts or design background, especially with an interest in the Middle East and the Islamic world. Candidates must have excellent writing skills, strong communication and research skills and the ability to multi-task. Candidates must have the ability to work independently, using their own initiative as well as working as part of a wider team. Candidates would be encouraged to innovate and come up with new ideas that will benefit the long-term success of Nuqta. Preference will be given to those with a basic knowledge of the Arabic language and experience in PR.
